Islam: A Born Again Christians View

There is so much on the news and online about the growing situation surrounding IS, Islam and Muslims that I’ve been compelled to write my view and understanding of this based upon being a committed Born Again Christian for the past five and a half years.

During the early part of becoming a Christian I wasn’t encouraged to read the Bible although it is, of course referred to at Church but no one I knew or spoke to constantly read and studied it and as a result, nor did I. But that changed!

A Journey of Discovery

I have seen documentaries of Orthodox Jews studying the Torah in a parrot fashion and always thought that this was somewhat archaic, until I began to study the Bible for myself. I now realise how important it is to learn and understand God’s book as well as understanding other ancient books that affect our lives and our safety. However, this is based upon having the freedom and ability to reference any other material I choose.

With this in mind, I have begun to read parts of the Qur’an and the Sahih Bukhari so as to cross reference those passages which appear to be the most ‘popular’. As it says in the book of Acts 17:11, the men of Berea tested what Paul and Silas were saying by referring back to Scripture.

So when it comes to matters of global warfare and terrorism, how are we supposed to understand and compartmentalise this growing tide of fear and hatred towards Christians and of course the continued hatred towards the Jews.

A Biblical Worldview

Now, bear in mind that I am writing this article from a Biblical worldview perspective as a Christian, so that means.

• I believe God created the World and everything in it.
• I believe Adam handed over his power and authority of the World to Satan by eating the fruit.
• That Jesus (who is also God) came to earth, was born of the Virgin Mary, grew in to a man and by dying on the cross, bore the penalty for our sins, took back the authority from Satan and handed it back to Man when he rose again on the third day.
• Whilst Satan was defeated, he was not destroyed and he continues to have dominion of this earth but not dominion over Born Again believing Christians. Satan thinks he can defeat God and the latter part of his plan is to create worldwide religious hatred (World War 3), then install someone to establish the impression of peace, create a one world religion on the pretext that the world doesn’t want any further religious wars.
• Once this infrastructure is in place, the Anti Christ will be revealed and what will follow will be seven years of tribulation as illustrated in the book Revelation. So I am clear about the sequence of events as far as the Christian faith is concerned.

Muhammad the Warlord

Since 610AD when Muhammad first appeared on the world scene, there has been a steady growth of Islam (which means submission) across North Africa, the Middle East and Asia. However, this is not surprising considering his strategy.

For someone who was illiterate, he was able to amass a significant following through fear. His first claim to fame was as that of a murdering and marauding warlord. Muhammad killed and raped his was across Arabia with complete impunity.

Such was his self aggrandisement that he began telling his appointed scribes to write down his every word. These sayings later became the Qur’an and further translations or explanations called Hadith Books which include; Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih muslim, Sunan Abu-Dawud and Malik’s Muwatta.

Jihad on non Muslims

However, this is where it becomes contentious. Muhammad states 164 times (See Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 47 - Jihad) that Muslims must kill infidels, kafirs, i.e. Christians and Jews. However, there are a few options:

1. Convert to Islam and become a Muslim
2. Pay a tax called the Jizya as long as certain criteria is met and continue to exist in our religions (however, IS have thus far been unable to stop themselves from committing genocide on Christians)
3. Failure to pay the tax or convert and we are to have our heads and fingers severed
4. Furthermore, any Muslim who carries out this act will be blessed by Allah.

Jihad on Christians & Jews

The following verses are in the Qur'an, so it seems pretty straightforward to me what the objective of Islam and Sharia Law is.  But what seems strange is that successive governments have done nothing to raise awareness of this?

A foundation of contempt

Some of the responses I have read about in parts of the Qur’an have stated that we, today, are taking the meanings out of context and that the comments made at that time (610AD) are not meant for today. That said, then everyone has a choice. So why the Jihad today? Why 9/11? Why Boko Haram? Why ISIS? If the Qur’an was a non-threatening document, how come there are so many Islamic based killings around the world.

The Qur’an instructs, not the Imam’s. Jihad is encouraged from generation to generation and spoken over small children to encourage them to become martyrs. This has been going on for centuries and it appears that all the while, the West has been aware of the Middle East’s deliberate manipulation, yet believed that they were either immune or that Islam would never actually get a foothold.

It is accepted that typical practising Muslims will follow the Qur'an. The Qur'an says that we are all to accept Muslim rule and Islamic supremacy or be killed.

Qur’an referencing Myriam (Mary) & Jesus

Mohammed and or his scribes mention Jesus and Mary (Myriam) more times than Mohammed himself. In addition, Abraham, Moses and other characters of the Bible are also mentioned.

Where I struggle with all this, is that the Old and New Testaments were in circulation in 610AD. Muhammad already acknowledges the Jews were, are, the chosen of God and that the Christians follow Jesus although he states that Jesus, whilst a prophet, was not the Son of God. (Qur’an 19:35-37).

Muhammad states that the 6,500 year old chronological Judeo Christian faith which consists of prophecy followed by documented events that had come to pass, was now, in his eyes, all wrong and that God, Allah got it wrong. As a result, all non Muslims should be killed.

It’s pretty cut and dried don’t you think.

The Crusades 1049AD

300 years after Muhammad dies, the Christian church sends the first wave of Crusaders to Jerusalem to restore access to Holy places. By 1490’s, fed up with the persistent raping and pillaging, Spain finally kicks the Muslims out of their country. For the next few hundred years Islam has steadily spread across the rest of the world.

As I see it now in 2014, successive western governments have rolled over to multiculturalism, allowing Muslims to establish themselves in most countries.

God at the centre of Politics

The UK and USA profess to be Christian countries yet neither current or previous leaders has ever put God at the centre of what they do. No leader has quoted the bible in its leadership and sadly no leader has demonstrated they submit to God or even understand Christianity (if they genuinely did, God would be first!). In fact, it now seems de rigueur for a politician to state that he or she is an atheist.

Unfortunately, even our organised church leaders seem unprepared to speak out about the lack of understanding about the Bible and help direct or disciple government leaders. The reality is that the majority of Christians (including world leaders) are left to ‘get on with it’ as there is an assumption that they know what their faith is about and indeed what God expects of them. I know that the Holy Spirit will convict, however, we are also told to study the Word of God and test what we are told.

So, when our governments promote and are convicted that same sex marriage is a great step forward, it 100 means that our leaders do not understand or even accept their own faith they profess to follow.

No one can tell one religion from another

Putting this in context with Islam, if a politician cannot be bothered to follow the Christian faith and understand what is expected of them, it is unlikely they are even remotely aware of the implications of a global following that calls its self a religion yet stands against everything the Christian faith is about.

When this is blended with multiculturalism and political correctness we end up with a society pandering to those with the loudest voices and not the majority.

As pockets of Sharia law are being attempted to be established in certain communities, the Christian faith is being struck from schools and colleges in favour of Freedom of Faith and still the world looks on the depravity in Nigeria, Syria and Iran as if it's some kind of video game nasty or quasi snuff film on You Tube.

The present day label is a Paedophile

So here’s the thing. A warlord terrifies a group of people. His hold on them increases to the point where they hang on his every word. He then tells them he is a messenger from God and that anyone not following him should be killed. Fear, being quite a motivator, encourages more and more people to capitulate and accept Muhammad as the messenger of God.

Mohammed now seems invincible and decides to take an interest in little girls. He sees a six year old child called Ayisha and gets engaged to her. It is then documented that he masturbated between the six year olds thighs until she was nine years old when he consummated his marriage to her. So that makes paedophilia acceptable in the eyes of Muslims and this practice continues today, including child marriages to older men!

• Muslim (8:3309) - Muhammad consummated his marriage to Aisha when she was only nine. (See also Bukhari (58:234) and many other places). No where in the reliable Hadith or Sira is any other age given
• Bukhari (62:18) - Aisha's father, Abu Bakr, wasn't on board at first, but Muhammad explained how the rules of their religion made it possible. This is similar to the way that present-day cult leaders manipulate their followers into similar concessions.
• Muslim (8:3311) - The girl took her dolls with her to Muhammad's house (something to play with when the "prophet" was not having sex with her).
• Bukhari (6:298) - Muhammad would take a bath with the little girl and fondle her.

An obsession with sex & violence

As a Christian taking a first look at what Islam is about, I am struck by two fundamental aspects; sex and violence. As a Christian believer, it appears to me that this is a long term strategy of the enemy, Satan, to systematically indoctrinate people so that they become “anti-Christian” and make an abomination of the rules and precepts in the Bible.

The Qur’an is obsessive about documenting the sexual habits of Muhammad. The Qur’an illustrates how Muhammad preferred to fondle virgins than have sex with his wives and how he would attain sexual gratification whilst the women around him were menstruating. It continues, as many are aware, that in paradise all the males will have two wives and will be presented with seventy two virgins and boys that, as their wives look on with honour, the men will spend their time deflowering them!

In addition, whilst a Muslim could have four wives, Muhammad allowed himself eleven wives and it is documented that he had sex with them daily. He also had multiple sex slaves and it is also documented that he had sex with one of his slaves in his marital bed. He also forced his adopted son to divorce his wife so Muhammad could marry her, tortured and killed a man to then marry his wife, allowed his followers to rape female captives, allowed his followers to hire prostitutes and promised his followers a heavenly paradise of eternal erections which they will use to endlessly deflower their virgins.

Whilst there were some educated people in his entourage working as scribes, the Islamic documented scripts are quite clear and graphic about how Muhammad behaved. And to me it seems wholly focused on the opposite of what the Bible says, especially ‘thou shalt not kill and thou shalt not commit adultery!’

There are also graphic explanations how Muslims are to behead and cut off the finger tips of non Muslims and the Jihad against those who do not follow Islam.

With so much emphasis on sex and violence for Muslims, it would seem quite acceptable for Muslims to behave with impunity as Muhammad did, why not?. I am mindful of the issues being exposed this week in Rotherham in the UK whereby 1,400 children are to have been groomed, abused and raped by Pakistani Muslims. This being the tip of the iceberg.

Imposing Sharia Law

It strikes me that as a British citizen, I am expected to accept listening to the call to prayer from local mosques, however, I now see this more as a call to subvert and to radicalise anyone who sets foot in a mosque. The long term objective is to establish Sharia law wherever it can and with that, for the men to behave like Muhammad.

We are a tolerant country, however, there is a difference between tolerance and ignorance. Until now, I could have been knocked around ‘like a reed in the wind’ when it came to discussing Islam, but now I have a better understanding about it. I see it as a cult not a culture. As with the religious cults I’ve read about in the USA that necessitated followers to be abducted and helped readjust in to society, I see that this is the same – it just happens to have been around for longer and dressed up as a religion and accepted by a billion plus people. But it doesn’t mean it’s right!

The Quar'an on Lying

Muslim scholars teach that Muslims should generally be truthful to each other, unless the purpose of lying is to "smooth over differences."

There are two forms of lying to non-believers that are permitted under certain circumstances, taqiyya (Saying something that isn't true) and kitman (Lying by omission). These circumstances are typically those that advance the cause Islam - in some cases by gaining the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them.

Taken collectively these verses are interpreted to mean that there are circumstances when a Muslim may be "compelled" to deceive others for a greater purpose.

The reason for listing the above is to reinforce the point that Islam is a cult and not a religion. When it comes to Muslims standing side-by-side with western govenments, it is written in the Qur'an that they can do so, only in order to further Islam.

There are too many points of conflict with the Qur'an & Hadith for me to list, but from my perspective, it seems that the plan is world domination and they'll say and do anything to anyone (governments & people) to achieve their aims and according to the Qur'an, any behavior is acceptable and is endorsed by Allah. Indoctrination of a cult

As with any cult, there is a structure to indoctrination and keeping people in their place. Click on the link below for a short interesting read (only approx twenty pages) about an extended answer when a Muslim turned back the question of who is indoctrinating whom! The points were as follows:

• Memorisation of key words and phrases
• Emphasis that adherents have ‘seen the light’
• Denigration of other sources of knowledge
• Regarding those who disagree as ‘the enemy’
• Strenuous efforts to keep the ‘faithful’ inside
• Attempts to filter out knowledge through a single intellectual grid (i.e. The Qur’an)
• Appeals to special knowledge
• Overblown appeals to beauty and or appeals to titles
• Denial of reality
• Appeal to the masses

No one cares about their neighbour

Successive governments around the world throughout history have failed to address the rise of Islam because they haven’t followed the Christian faith, but instead focused on colonialism and expansion for personal gain. As Queen Victoria said, “we don’t have loyalties, only interests”. And whilst Churchill stated that the rise of Islam was a real danger, no one did anything about it.

The amazing fact about our current predicament is that the events form part of the prophecies laid down in the Bible.

As this grows, the non-radical Muslims will be shunned by their neighbours (i.e. anyone who is not a Muslim) . And some will be more vocal about it like the BNP splinter group called Britain First. As this grows and Muslims become more and more ostracised. The radicals will continue to be visible, welcoming the non-radical Muslims in to the fold saying, “come and join us because we told you the West would blank you”. So, evil begets evil.

Ex Politicians playing on Religion

Non-practising Christians will still sit around thinking that it will go away but it won’t, and we’re all to blame. Even when looking at The Tony Blair Faith Foundation which supports initiatives in the field of inter-religious dialogue. The Facebook page says “We provide the practical support required to counter religious prejudice, conflict and extremism in order to promote an open-minded and stable society.

It sounds like a great solution, yet the whole site shows a staggering lack of understanding about the Bible and only mentions God four times, but not in relation to Christianity, Judaism or even Catholocism (Tony Blair's religion!). The points are:

1. Relating to a University in USA
2. In relation to the Dhimmi (Muslim Tax)
3. A Book title about the Lebannon
4. An Islamic leader who wants to revive Sharia Law

Three mentions relating to Islam but not one mention about God in relation to Christianity or Judaism! Just to remind you of the name again, The Tony Blair Faith Foundation.

We have been brainwashed and hoodwinked, by successive individuals masquerading as politicians committed to faith, into believing a false sense of superiority and security. They infer that they have a handle on all this geo-religious activity around the world, but if I am to believe the press, Tony Blair is simply lining his pockets commercially but dressing it up with a religious slant.

David Cameron is on record saying that he is a Church of England Christian, but has many unanswered questions about his faith. Obviously he doesn't understand what the Bible says about same-sex marriage and worshiping other gods as he did when he visited a Hindu temple to make Divali offerings with his wife!

1st Commandment: Thou shalt have no other gods before me - Exodus 20:3

Convert to Islam or die!

God knows our hearts and even on our deathbeds we can come to a point where we make him Lord of our lives and can be saved. But what a waste! Why wait until you have a few moments left on this earth to become a Christian when there is so much to experience as a Born Again Christian who has dominion on the earth and over Satan. We must not forget, God wants us here for a reason, he also wants us for eternity and Satan wants us dead, both physically and spiritually.

When it comes to Islam, you either convert or die. So the options are none too clever. Become a Muslim and you won’t be executed, but you will go to hell because you deny Jesus. Don’t become a Muslim and sit on the fence undecided and you will still be executed all the same and still go to hell for not acknowledging God and Jesus.

You are therefore left with only two choices, follow Jesus or follow Satan, go to heaven or go to hell. There is no middle ground here. It’s time you made your mind up!

If the Christian faith was so inconsequential there would be nothing for anyone to worry about. However this whole battle is not about troops, borders and boundaries, it is about good and evil. Satan wants you dead in Jesus want you for eternity - whose side are you on?

The Qur'an wholly sets itself against the Bible and Christianity. From stating Jesus was only a prophet and not the Son of God to the way in which wives and children are treated. It must grieve God so much that Satan has turned so many away from his love and blessings in this life and for the next.

But the bottom line - Jesus wins!

Seek and you will find – Jesus!

We are all given ample opportunity to seek and learn what life on this earth is all about. Yet we have squandered almost every opportunity in favour of our collective gross selfishness.

God’s two most important Commandments: To love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and strength and to love your neighbour as yourself, simple! However, when self-serving power and a desire for control get in the way, we know that the enemy is at work.

So what choices are we presented with when it comes to Islam? It’s simple, there are none except to ask Jesus to guide you. By speaking out to him, he will answer. He always does.

Viewing this as I do through the lenses of a Christian, once you verbally acknowledge Jesus as Lord of your life you are considered ‘saved’.

The next step is to get baptised in water, which represents dying with Christ and rising again. We are then to emulate Jesus; heal the sick, cast out demons and make disciples AND pray for wisdom – that’s it. It is the Holy Spirit who will convict the individual, we are to forgive and love our neighbour and God will take care of the rest.

• If we become Christians (as described above), we are saved and will go to heaven, but read Hebrews 10:26 as it is possible to lose your salvation!
• If we choose to ignore or turn away from Christianity we will go to hell
• If we remain undecided – we will still go to hell

Christians & Jews are feared the most

Satan knows that his time is short so he's stepped things up a pace, however this is not the endgame. It will spread and get worse and then someone will turn up and put an end to what the world calls religious wars and then command and dictate that anyone espousing religious doctrines, i.e. Muslim, Christianity or otherwise will be stopped.

Then a single one world global religion will be introduced that is to make everyone play nicely. The rest of the story is in the Bible, the last book called Revelation. And it’s not good for many people.

The bottom line, you are in one of two camps. You’re either with God or with Satan. Satan will do anything to stop Christians or the chosen people of God, the Jews from being victorious. However, there is a caveat. The Jews I am referring to are those who acknowledge Jesus as their Lord and Messiah! Those that don’t fall in to the camp of non-Christians and will suffer the consequences as previously mentioned.

Read the Bible and find out for yourself. 6500 years of history, prophecy and documented proof of events coming to pass is not wrong.

Every Muslim is Expected to Kill

There is no such thing as a non radical Muslim. The Qur'an says that they must have it in their hearts to kill for Jihad (even if they don't fulfill it) or they will go to hell (if only for a short time!).

Taken together, Sura (69) and verse (84:7-12) present a picture of the reckoning of Muslims on Judgment Day, in which believers are given sentences based on their sins versus good deeds.

I believe that all genuine non radical Muslims would immediately become Christian, if only the Word and the love of Jesus was shown to them.

Is there a solution to stop the growing hatred & genocide?

Once you study the Bible, it appears that there is no solution!

Some Christian believers interpret the Bible, according to Matthew 24:43 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16, they will suddenly disappear and be taken up (Raptured) into heaven to be with Jesus. Following the “Rapture” will be seven years of tribulation and world events that will be so shocking and awful that people left behind will not want to be alive.  Well, the tribulation is correct, but we'll all be here for that.  there will be three and a half years of Satan's wrath followed by three and a half years of God's wrath, which I don't want to be around for, as I hope I will have died by then.  However, at the end of the seven years, THEN there will be the rapture...

Preceding these events will be the ushering in of a world peace keeper working on behalf of Satan who will be the “Anti-Christ”. Those who didn't believe before the rapture will have the opportunity to follow Jesus, but still many will not.

The climax of these events will be a final battle between Jesus and Satan, Jesus wins. Non Christians still alive will be cast in to the lake of fire. Satan is bound in chains for 1000 years and a New Jerusalem descends from the heavens where we will finally live in peace and harmony with God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Governments need to embark on a global explanation of the Qur'an versus the Bible. Muslims need to know that Jesus actually died for them too. That they are forgiven of their sins, past, present and future. All they need to do is repent, turn away from Islam and accept Jesus as Lord of their lives.

What can be done in the meantime?

World governments could attempt a mass re-adjustment of 1.2 billion Muslims through Christian broadcasting. They could close borders, shut down mosques, impose sanctions, invade Muslim countries and change school curriculums. But I doubt it.

We want to lead everyone to Christ and for them to know that they're loved, are significant AND forgiven. Jesus said love your enemy. And we do, And it is described in the Bible 1 Corinthians 13:4 as:

• Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
• Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages[a] and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!

As Christians, we are told to heal the sick, cast out demons and make disciples. Our job is to carry on with what we’re doing, spreading the Good News and leading people to Christ. Nothing else matters and only God knows the timescales.

Let me remind you. We have power and authority over the enemy. That is why Jesus dies for us. As born again Christians, we’re already dead to this world so we have nothing to lose. We can do amazing things because of the grace (power) we have been given. In John 14:12 Jesus said,

• “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works because I am going to be with the father”

Sadly, many Christians are unaware of the power of spoken prayer yet many of our Church leaders continue to endorse silent prayer. And as a result they are not seeing the fruit of their actions manifest in their lives. Perhaps it’s time to dust off your Bible and start speaking God, asking him to guide you on the next stage of YOUR journey.

Do not fear and do not worry are commands. We just need to do as we have been shown. Do not falter. Everyone you come in to contact with needs to know, the only way to God is through the Son - Jesus Christ!
