Setting Out The Battle Lines to Reclaim Our Inheritance

28 February 2017, Written by Nigel Maine, Posted in God, Faith & Miracles, Business, Hits 4011

It's time to change our approach to business and help our colleagues understand what God has got planned for us

Setting Out The Battle Lines to Reclaim Our Inheritance

The Standard has been set up as a framework to provide support and encouragement to people who own their own businesses.

We are encouraging businesses everywhere to grasp what God has got planned for our lives as business owners.  The Bible is full of promises, however, because we fail act, these promises will not come to pass.

God wants us to prosper.  He wants us to succeed, yet we keep allowing the father of lies to steal our inheritance - that's satan for anyone who doesn't know.

Praying and Prayers for Business

Is it time to speak to God through spoken prayer?

Praying and Prayers for Business

One of the most underrated faith-based activities is prayer. Don't get me wrong the people who experience answered prayer are wholly committed to it, but for your average businessman or woman, turning to prayer is invariably a last resort, when it's too late!

I can personally testify to the amazing power of prayer and petition (click here to read or watch a video of my testimony).

Why is it we can't seem to get it right when we pray?

Prayers and our Big Mouths

Prayer and its effectiveness is always a sensitive area for Christians. Some say it works, some say it doesn't, some have never tried it and some swear by it! So why is prayer such a contentious issue. Well, as you would expect, I have an opinion which is wholly scriptural and I think worthy to be considered!

Jesus was not poor, so why does the Church say He was?

The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests - Matt 8:20

Jesus was not poor, so why does the Church say He was?

When discussing if Jesus’ was poor prior to and during his ministry, the immediate response I have received over the past five years is as follows:

The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has no where to lay his head - Matthew 8:20

I came across the information below which seems to make complete sense; however, I am confused as to why so many Church leaders quote the same Scripture yet view it completely differently than below?

Islam - A Born Again Christians View

If we dont study the Bible what will compel anyone to study the Quran to understand their intentions

Islam - A Born Again Christians View

There is so much on the news and online about the growing situation surrounding IS, Islam and Muslims that I’ve been compelled to write my view and understanding of this based upon being a committed Born Again Christian for the past five and a half years.

During the early part of becoming a Christian I wasn’t encouraged to read the Bible although it is, of course referred to at Church but no one I knew or spoke to constantly read and studied it and as a result, nor did I. But that changed!
