Setting Out The Battle Lines to Reclaim Our Inheritance

Written by // Nigel Maine Categories // God, Faith & Miracles, Business

It's time to change our approach to business and help our colleagues understand what God has got planned for us

Setting Out The Battle Lines to Reclaim Our Inheritance

The Standard has been set up as a framework to provide support and encouragement to people who own their own businesses.

We are encouraging businesses everywhere to grasp what God has got planned for our lives as business owners.  The Bible is full of promises, however, because we fail act, these promises will not come to pass.

God wants us to prosper.  He wants us to succeed, yet we keep allowing the father of lies to steal our inheritance - that's satan for anyone who doesn't know.

Praying and Prayers for Business

Is it time to speak to God through spoken prayer?

Praying and Prayers for Business

One of the most underrated faith-based activities is prayer. Don't get me wrong the people who experience answered prayer are wholly committed to it, but for your average businessman or woman, turning to prayer is invariably a last resort, when it's too late!

I can personally testify to the amazing power of prayer and petition (click here to read or watch a video of my testimony).

The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests - Matt 8:20

Jesus was not poor, so why does the Church say He was?

When discussing if Jesus’ was poor prior to and during his ministry, the immediate response I have received over the past five years is as follows:

The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has no where to lay his head - Matthew 8:20

I came across the information below which seems to make complete sense; however, I am confused as to why so many Church leaders quote the same Scripture yet view it completely differently than below?

ISIS: Fighting Fire with Fire

Written by // Nigel Maine Categories // News & Information, Islam

In the battle with ISIS You cannot fight a spiritual war with physical artillery

ISIS: Fighting Fire with Fire

In a world where faith and spirituality are ridiculed, even by some Christians, it’s not surprising that the West appears to be doing nothing about the atrocities in the Middle East.

From where I’m standing, it all seems pretty clear to me. Our world has become so self-serving that it has dispensed with all this God stuff and continues with the self-styled order that allows anyone and everyone to reject the past – even if it was right and even if it foretold our future.
