Day 19 - John 14-17

Promise

When the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. (16:13)

Command

I tell you the truth, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. (16:20)

Timeless Principle

And this is the way to have eternal life – to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to Earth. (17:3)

Application

The long-term plan is fixed. I need to ensure that my life is in agreement with God's Word. I need to ask for guidance to put me on and keep me on track.

Lord, with these options open to me I submit my will to Yours and receive Your instruction and guidance.  Thank you.

God's message:

You have been told - stop complaining! The Holy Spirit is with you to guide you. Get on with it. Whatever you need I will provide it, simply ask for it in my name.
